Dear Ms. Szabo,

The book out of my mind was a great book. I liked how the author explained the details do well. I loved the part when Melody was going to be in the Whiz team competition and then go to Washington D.C.! But then, something terrible happened, her team mates left her on the airport! So, they came super early to the airport, and then they asked the lady at the front desk that they are here for the 12 o’clock plane flight, but then the lady told them that the flight was cancelled. So, they made it just in time for the 9 o’clock flight. Then Rose was going to call Melody, but she turned to her friends and they ALL said, “No.” So Melody got to the airport when she was getting ready for the flight, the lady said, “The 12 o’ clock flight was cancelled due to the heavy snow in Boston.” So Melody    got out of control and was very mad. So they went back home and Mr. D called said he was very sorry. Then Melody’s mom got so mad, she threw the phone into the wall. After that had happened, another thing had happened, Penny got into a car accident! It was so…. SAD!  She had to go to the hospital. And she had a cast.
